A Treat for My Readers…
Over the years, I’ve written and recorded dozens of songs onto four-track and, later, digital multi-track. Inspired by a generation of DIY, low-fi artists like Robert Pollard and Tobin Sprout (the heart of Guided by Voices), Elliott Smith and Beck, I cranked out a long string of indie pop-infused tunes, mostly between 1995-2004. I’ve shared them with various friends throughout the years, and now I’d like to share them with you.
After a long break, where I became, well, a little obsessed with Celtic music and directed my musical energies toward learning the Scottish smallpipes, I’m hoping to return to my indie rock roots within the next few years and record a whole new slate of tunes. In the meantime, I hope these will keep you entertained.
So download these onto your favorite digital player, grab your headphones for maximum pleasure, and enjoy the ride!
