Book Talks

I’ve done many book talks at various schools over the years. I typically incorporate a reading from my latest book along with a general discussion of how I became a writer, though I prefer to spend as much time as possible interacting with the students. I learned long ago that teens typically ask all kinds of great questions about everything from the writing process to a book’s production. As a high school English teacher, I’m very comfortable working with student groups.
